Vision
What it is, and what it isn’t
What is a company Vision? Put simply, a company vision is a future you believe in that reasonable people might disagree with you on.
A good vision is “A thousand songs in your pocket.”
A vision is NOT “Everyone in the world will have free electricity.”
A goo vision is “shooting stars daily that return critical materials that improve life on earth.”
A vision is NOT “a future where we have abundant resources for all.”
A good vision is simple, tangible, and exciting. If a vision is obvious, it’s likely not that visionary. If it’s intangible, it loses meaning.
Founders that set a clear vision well hire better, raise capital more easily, and ultimately find success at a higher rate.
Iterate. Find your message. Then tell it on repeat!
