Meet Our Fall Fellow: Atharv Gupta
Introducing another rising star to Also Capital’s early talent community
We love spending time with and supporting unique talents, especially early in their career! That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome Atharv Gupta as our Fall Fellow at Also Capital.
We met Atharv a few months ago, shortly after he finished up his Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford. There, he dove into topics that are near the top of modern technology discourse — including how public, open-API digital infrastructure can drive growth, and how fintech tools are transforming outcomes for small-scale merchants across India.
We are excited for Atharv to bring his global, interdisciplinary perspective to our team. While earning his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, Atharv spent time at the World Bank and the U.S. Department of State, looking into how societies and systems evolve with technology. When he’s not thinking about the future, he’s writing about the past – currently working on a historical fiction novel about the British East India Company (think Succession but in 1756 Calcutta).
Over the next six weeks, Atharv will be working on a few discrete projects across our portfolio and spending time with our partners to explore what makes great entrepreneurs tick. We’ve had a lot of fun getting to know him, and we’re excited to learn from his thoughtful approach to systems, narratives, and transformation.
Please join us in welcoming Atharv to the team! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to connect, share your thoughts, or just welcome him aboard.
