We’re thrilled to welcome Nathaniel Krasnoff and Dan Bilen to Also Capital as our second-ever Entrepreneurs-in-Residence.
At Also, we back founders who combine technical depth with entrepreneurial drive. Nate and Dan embody both. They bring leadership skills and deep experience in robotics, autonomy, fintech, product management, and operational excellence that make them uniquely situated to build in this space. Nate is a repeat founder who has successfully built in hardware, software, and fintech. Dan has previously taken products from zero to one, most recently at DoorDash and before that as a Founding PM of Uber One. Most importantly, they share our conviction that the most important frontier in Hard Tech lies in applying intelligence to unstructured, real-world environments.
Over the past several months we’ve been exploring how robotics can transform industries where labor is scarce, processes are inefficient, and autonomy has yet to scale. They aren’t sharing too many specifics yet, but Nate and Dan vision is compelling: scaling robotics systems that don’t just automate tasks, but redefine how industries operate.
At Also, our (highly selective) EIR program allows us to work extremely closely with 1-2 founders per year to help shape and accelerate ambitious opportunities. We provide capital, resources, and access to our Hard Tech network which enables world-class technical teams to move faster in pursuit of building category-defining companies. Bringing on Nate and Dan for this year was a no brainer, and we’re excited to help them build something generational.
